Dear Student,
Please note that all international students are required to strictly comply with the regulations of the Egyptian Immigration Authority regarding residency visa extensions. Failure to maintain a valid residency status may result in penalties, including late fees, legal complications, or possible deportation.
To ensure your legal stay in Egypt, you must initiate the residency visa extension process immediately upon your arrival in Cairo.
Important Requirements:
- You are required to apply for your residency visa extension and pay the applicable fees within one month of your arrival in Egypt.
- Please note that a 14-day grace period is granted after the expiration of your one-month entry visa. Any delay beyond this period will result in immigration penalties.
- Residency visa fees must be paid online only. When making the payment, you must accurately enter your AUC ID number and all other required information. Incorrect information may delay or invalidate your application.
- Before making the online payment, you must contact the Business Support Office to verify and confirm all required documentation & requested fees for your residency application.
- Once your payment has been successfully processed, the Business Support Office will send you an email confirming your appointment at the Immigration Office.
- Attendance at the scheduled Immigration Office appointment is mandatory. Failure to attend your appointment will result in the payment of late fees in addition to the residency fees again & and will require you to submit a new online payment before a new appointment can be scheduled.
Students are solely responsible for ensuring that their residency status remains valid at all times. Failure to comply with the above requirements may affect your legal status in Egypt.
Thank you for your cooperation.
