Please note that all international students are required to comply with Egyptian Immigration Authority regulations regarding residency visa extensions. To legalize your stay in Egypt and avoid any issues at security checkpoint such as late fees payment or possible deportation—you must begin the residency visa extension process immediately upon arrival.

Upon arriving in Cairo, you are required to pay the applicable fees and apply for your residency visa extension within one month of your arrival. Please be aware that there is a 14-day grace period after your one-month visa expires.

Payment must be completed online. When making the payment, ensure that you correctly enter your AUC ID number and all other required details.

Once your payment has been finalized, you will receive an email from the Business Support Office confirming your immigration office appointment.

Failure to attend the scheduled immigration office appointment before your visa expires will result in a late fee payment.
